You can then spend the afternoon exploring the beautiful local surroundings and visit our great local pub for home cooked evening dining (The Shepherds Inn, Melmerby. Booking recommended, open Thursday-Saturday evenings, all day Sunday, closed Monday-Wednesday)

Sleep soundly under the stars in our 5 star beautiful Victorian Manor House with the llamas and alpacas grazing in the adjacent paddock. The grounds here are teeming with wildlife and you will really immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the wild woodland countryside.

Wake up to the sound of birdsong and the cooing of our resident wood pigeons, you can then take a leisurely 5 minute stroll into the picturesque village and visit The Village Bakery where you can treat yourself to an amazing hearty breakfast. Spend some time exploring in our village or paddle in the stream or you can simply choose to take in the wonderful scenery and just chill in our beautiful gardens.

After breakfast we will introduce you to your llamas and give an information and safety talk before heading out for a relaxed stroll round the beautiful village of Melmerby. There will be plenty of photo opportunities and chances to cuddle the llamas. On arrival back on site, you will take the llamas back to their paddock, then have the chance to meet our other animals on site, including our Bengal cats, giant rabbits and cheeky pygmy goats.

After this you can relax and enjoy coffee or tea and cake served in the conservatory or garden.

You can then head off into the sunset having had a simply unique and relaxing experience that has simply melted away your stress and hopefully introduced you to the love of llamas, no doubt with your own firm favourite.
