The treks are designed to be
suitable for a range of
differing levels of fitness or
ability over varied terrain, so
there is something to suit
everyone
One of our existing
routes is even wheelchair and pram
friendly so no one is left out!
The routes can be for as little
as one and a half hours walking
or up to five hours over a whole
day for those looking for more
of a challenge.
We have established routes to
cover a delightful variety of
picturesque countryside
environments, from woodland to
lakes and moor lands; or just a
simple stroll along quiet
country lanes.
Instant photos are available for
purchase on the day at the trek
to remind you of your llama
experience or you can order
digital photographs to be
supplied the following week via
email or hard copy. Pictures of
recent treks will be posted by
permission of participants on
our website for you to view with
your friends and family.
Llama trekking is not
recommended for very young
children as they will have
difficulty keeping up over a
prolonged period, however our
'Meet The Llamas' (shorter trek)
would be suitable for children 5
years and upwards.
Children under 16 must be
accompanied by an adult.
Trekking In The Lake District
Many of our routes are based
around Keswick in the North
lakes. This is a popular market
town in the beautiful Lake
District National Park and has
pretty parkland leading down to
the shores of Derwentwater Lake
and the river Greta winding it’s
way through the heart of the
town.
Our treks are completely
suitable for the less seasoned
walkers who would love to
explore the surrounding area in
an unusual and enjoyable way and
are guaranteed to tempt you to
find out more about your
fascinating and friendly walking
companion…the Llama.
More challenging treks can be
undertaken by those intrepid
walking enthusiasts amongst you.
We are happy to explore new
routes at your suggestion in and
around the Lake district (no
stiles or cattle grids please)
please feel free to contact us
with details.
