For
those who would like to prolong
their stay in the Lake District
National Park, there is some
excellent local accommodation
that we can recommend.
In Scales, there is a choice
of bed and breakfast and
self-catering accommodation. A
warm welcome awaits visitors at
Scales Farm Country Guest House,
a traditional sensitively
modernised 17th Century
Farmhouse, where owners Alan and
Angela Jameison provide bed and
breakfast accommodation.
Alternatively if you prefer
self-catering accommodation,
Scales View Barn is
converted to provide three fully
equipped modern self-contained
cottages, each having three
storeys, which may be let
individually or together to
accommodate up to 16 people.
A short distance away in
peaceful St John’s in the Vale
at the foot of Helvellyn, Robert
and Pam Hall provide self
catering accommodation at
Fornside Farm in one of four
quality cottages converted from
stone barns and equipped,
furnished and maintained to a
high standard.
We would be grateful if you
mention Lakeland Llama Treks
when you arrange accommodation.
